I am a 32-year-old returning student, finishing my BA. In my academic hiatus, I have gained 10+ years of leadership experience across a multitude of industries and work environments. This experience includes, but is not limited to; restaurant/retail, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and localization.
Throughout my academic pursuits, I have explored a wide array of courses, spanning numerous subjects, as most students. Additionally, I have experience in both dorm-living and on-campus apartment-living, student body government, community outreach, and campus employment.
I had not received any scholarships and was completely self-funded in my academic pursuits. It was for this reason that I also had to take a hiatus when nearing the completion of my BA; my funds had run dry.
