With my time at Rutgers University-Newark, I have completed multiple opportunities in various areas. I earned two scholarships that funded my time at the university: the Honors Living-Learning Community and Cooperman College Scholars. Through the HLLC, I received room and board for free while having access to minor in social justice. Cooperman covered the rest of tuition while providing mentorship, college prep, and school supplies. I was a psychology research assistant for an academic year in the Child Study Center. The position provided course credit as I gained skills in face coding and transcribing through DataVyu. The final major experience I had through Rutgers was studying abroad in Rome, Italy for a semester in junior year. I became a mentor to students on study abroad opportunities and preparing for the travel.
