I started in community college as I was not very active during my high school days. I had a 2.4-2.6 GPA in high school, with no ambition and discipline, so I had to attend a community college. Fortunately, I could work with my advisors, worked for a better GPA, and got into UCI. I did not know what I wanted to do or where I saw myself in the future, but now I am working towards becoming a therapist. The path I wanted to take became clear once I started thinking and talking to my advisors at my community college as they helped and provided programs and events that I could attend to create for relationships with other people in the field of Psychology.
