I am a second-year PhD student at Harvard University, where I am currently performing dissertation research on the evolution and development of motor systems for communication in primate and bird models. I am interested in autonomic-auditory-vocal-motor systems in birds and primates, neuroethology, interactions of neuromodulators and hormones, and the application of sensory neuroethology to the avian and hominid fossil record. I received a full support scholarship for my current PhD program and spend most of my time reading and watching the planes take off at the beach.

communication and coauthoring a monograph on stability and flexibility in behavioral and cognitive systems in mammals
and birds as they relate to communication.
