Hello! My name is Katelyn King, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University in May 2024. I spent my first two years at Oxford College of Emory University, where I earned an Associate of Arts in 2022. Throughout my time at Emory, I was involved in numerous activities and organizations. I served as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant, Resident Advisor, Undergraduate Research Programs Research Ambassador, and Matriculate Advising Fellow. I also conducted research on breast cancer, prostate cancer, and multiple myeloma. I received scholarships and funding from the NIH, Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Weill Cornell Medicine, and the Leadership Alliance to pursue my education and research opportunities.
