My name is Kinsie Osman, I completed my bachelor's degree in science at North Carolina State University with a major in biological sciences and a concentration in human biology. I am now in the process of obtaining my master's degree in public health with a focus in epidemiology. During my undergraduate experience, I was a part of different extraculriccular activities like the Arab Student Organization, University Scholar's program, and the Muslim Student Organization. I also interned at Immunoreagents, a small biotechnological company that manufactures antibody and reagent products for larger pharmaceutical companies; through this experience, I was able to hone many of my skills concerning critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and social skills. In addition, I was able to meet and network with different scientists who worked in various departments of science different from clinical science. Through many of my extracurricular activities, I was able to participate in many leadership opportunities as well as meet people from different backgrounds who I can call my close friends. Additionally, I was able to network and meet different professors within my field of studies which assisted my collection of my graduate program application.
