Hi! My name is Lincoln Pierce and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry at Middlebury College. My journey began at Camden Hills Regional High School where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a GPA of 4.08/4.00, actively engaged in leadership roles such as the Treasurer of the National Honor Society, and participated in the All-State Orchestra, Band, and Honors Jazz Band, showing my commitment to excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities.

My professional experience is deeply rooted in the veterinary field, demonstrating my commitment to veterinary medicine. I have worked as a Veterinary Clinic Assistant at P.A.W.S. Animal Adoption Center, where my responsibilities included assisting in a range of clinical tasks from administering medications to preparing for surgeries, serving 5-20 canine and feline patients daily. Prior to this, I served as a Veterinary Assistant at PenBay Veterinary Associates, gaining comprehensive experience in patient care across multiple species. These experiences have been foundational in preparing me for veterinary school, showcasing my hands-on experience and passion for animal care.

In addition to my professional endeavors, I have held significant leadership roles and participated in activities that underscore my diverse skills and interests. As a member and librarian of the Middlebury Orchestra, I have nurtured my musical talent while demonstrating organizational skills. My leadership capabilities were further exhibited through roles such as the Co-President of the CHRHS Student Council and the President of the Interact Club, where I led initiatives that fostered community spirit and welfare.

My interests are as varied as they are deep, ranging from musical pursuits such as playing the piano and guitar to engaging in sports like mountain biking and tennis. As I look towards the future, my goal is to attend veterinary school, a path for which my academic background in molecular biology/biochemistry, coupled with extensive hands-on experience in veterinary settings and a proven track record of leadership and community engagement, have thoroughly prepared me. My journey thus far is a testament to my commitment to lifelong learning, passion for animal care, and dedication to making a positive impact in the world.
