Hi! My name is Rachael Burcker, and I’m a rising senior at Lehigh University majoring in Psychology with minors in Health, Medicine & Society and Creative Writing. I’m originally from Maryland and have absolutely loved my time at Lehigh, both in and outside the classroom.
Throughout my time here, I’ve gotten involved in a mix of hands-on research, clinical work, and campus life. I work as a Behavioral Health Technician through Lehigh’s Autism Services, supporting kids using ABA therapy. I’m also part of two research teams: one focused on mental healthcare equity and the other exploring how online media impacts young people’s identity and beliefs. These opportunities have helped me grow so much as a student and future mental health professional.
Outside of academics, I’m a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and serve on our Member Development Committee, where I help support sisters going through academic stress or personal challenges. I love connecting with people and am always happy to talk about my experiences here at Lehigh—from academics and research to Greek life, internships, and finding your place on campus. I know how overwhelming the college process can be, and I’d love to help however I can!
