As an aspiring healthcare professional, I am driven by a deep passion for bioethics and patient advocacy. My diverse experiences reflect this commitment. At the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics, I contribute to impactful research as a Neuroethics Research Assistant, co-authoring academic posters and articles, including a forthcoming publication in Nature.
Beyond research, I am dedicated to hands-on patient support. I am currently pursuing certification as a doula and plan to complete a doula apprenticeship, gaining invaluable insights into patient advocacy. As an active member of "Doulas @ Brown," I promote education and awareness about doula services and reproductive health.
On campus, I actively engage in discussions surrounding healthcare ethics. As a writer for our university's Journal of Medical Humanities and a board member of our Bioethics Society, I contribute to fostering critical dialogue on issues at the intersection of medicine and ethics.
These diverse pursuits reflect my holistic approach to personal and professional growth, which I balance with leisure activities like reading, practicing yoga, and playing bass guitar. Ultimately, my goal is to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients by advocating for their needs and upholding the highest ethical standards in healthcare.
