I have been a Student Assistant at the Career Center on my campus for 2 years where I gained invaluable skills in customer service, teamwork, leadership, self advocacy and time management. As a mentor for the first-year seminar on my campus I also gained lots of skills and practice working on assisting students find their right path during college and how to balance their time. I have received multiple outside of school scholarships from local organizations as well as grant funded scholarships from my university directly. I am super knowledgable on all things URI, and am very informed about general college tips and tricks in general! I have gained a lot of resources on working with students entering school through my time as a mentor and from other leadership roles and I am eager to share my knowledge with prospective students.
