Hello everyone! My name is Natalia and I’m a junior at Clark University double majoring in psychology and management. I have loved my experience at Clark and would love to share my experience and advice for prospective or interested students. I’m currently studying abroad in Perugia, Italy which has been an amazing experience. When I get back to school I will start working as a Resident Advisor for the dorms along with being part of two clubs and the biggest event held at Clark called Gala. I’m part of the Salsa Encendida dance team and the Clark Bars A cappella club and both have been awesome ways for me to meet other people and create an amazing community. I think Clark does a good job at making an inclusive environment and having clubs (or letting you create your own) so students feel like they have a community. As a Latin student who has lived in Colombia my whole life I was able to find this in the salsa team. As I said before I also participate in the event called Gala which is where any student can sign up to create a dance or performance that represents your own country and again it has been amazing to share my identity with everyone in the Clark community and to have the opportunity to share something so important to me! I have also worked in other office jobs for the past two years before coming abroad and everyone is very kind, friendly and welcoming.
