My name is Prue Love Gibson, and I am currently a senior at Arizona State University, where I am pursuing a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in International Communications. I have maintained a consistent presence on the Dean’s List for academic excellence from 2021 to 2024. My coursework has given me a strong foundation in sociology and communication, with a focus on issues related to health, race, ethnicity, and interpersonal dynamics.
In addition to my academic achievements, I have gained valuable experience in grassroots organizing and leadership through my roles as an Arizona Student Organizer for Un-PAC and as an Organizing Intern with Reproductive Freedom for All. These roles have honed my skills in event planning, volunteer recruitment, and negotiating for student reforms and reproductive rights. I also have experience in customer service and team collaboration from previous roles in hospitality and retail, which have strengthened my ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clientele.
I am passionate about making a difference, whether through advocacy work or mentoring others as a Youth Mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. In my spare time, I enjoy applying my creative side as the lead graphic artist of NAMA's fashion committee. I am proficient in data analysis using IBM SPSS and Qualtrics, and I have a working knowledge of Adobe Suite. Additionally, I speak English fluently and have basic proficiency in French, Spanish, and Korean.
