Throughout my time in high school I was able to experience a handful of different events. I was president of my high school's Marching Band and one of the leaders in my high school's Jazz Band. On top of this, I was able to compete in Poetry competitions. With all of these events I have done, I have had the pleasure of working with countless people; where I learned my communication, creativity, and adaptive skills.  I have received a scholarship of $1,000 from my high school as a student of musical talent. Most of my financial aid covers my schooling, and I have received scholarships from UC Davis as well. I am a part of the low-income graphic, where scholarships such as the UC Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan has helped me immensely. Another thing about myself is that I am fluent in American Sign Language and English.
