I am a recent graduate of UC Davis with a degree in International Relations, a field that has not only equipped me with a profound understanding of global affairs but has also cultivated a diverse skill set.  During my tenure as a CrossFit Instructor, spanning two years, I honed my ability to motivate and inspire individuals, fostering a collaborative and energetic environment. This experience not only strengthened my communication skills but also highlighted the significance of discipline and perseverance in achieving both individual and collective goals.  Subsequently, as an assistant manager in a dental office for a year, I developed a keen sense of organizational management and enhanced my leadership capabilities. The responsibilities entrusted to me allowed me to navigate the intricacies of coordinating tasks efficiently and ensuring a seamless workflow within the office.

In the realm of academia, I dedicated three years to serving as an academic tutor for high school and college students. This role not only solidified my grasp of the subjects I tutored but also reinforced my commitment to education. Through personalized guidance and mentorship, I contributed to the academic success of numerous students, fostering an environment of learning and growth.  My passion for writing and cultural exploration is evident in the two articles I authored about the city of Berlin.

Furthermore, my involvement as the head of news discussion for the International Relations Student Association underscored my leadership skills and commitment to staying informed about global events. This position allowed me to facilitate meaningful discussions among peers, contributing to a more nuanced understanding of international affairs.  One of the highlights of my academic journey was the opportunity to conduct independent research for my Japanese 6 class, focusing on Japanese foreign policy. The culmination of this project involved translating my findings into both English and Japanese, showcasing my linguistic proficiency and dedication to cross-cultural communication.  In essence, my diverse experiences in CrossFit instruction, dental office management, academic tutoring, writing, and research have collectively shaped me into a dynamic and adaptable professional. I am eager to leverage my skills and knowledge gained from my International Relations education to make meaningful contributions to any professional setting I enter.
