My name is Nicole and I am a first-year pre-global studies student at UCLA. Having gone through the college application process not too long ago, I can share my experiences and advice on anything related to the admissions process and my high school journey. I applied to over 20 schools which include the UC's, Cal States, Ivy Leagues, and other top private schools. I received acceptances from all of the UC's and Cal States, but rejections/waitlists from the other private schools. I would be happy to share what I learned, give advice on essays and time management, and what I think got me and my friends into elite schools.

At UCLA, I am currently involved with one of the competitive dance teams, Association of Chinese Americans (ACA), Circle K, and my part-time job working at event services through ASUCLA. I was also involved with the UCLA first-year experience program and global siblings program. I took 17 units this past quarter and received A's in all of my classes. This past quarter, I took the food cluster, colonial Latin America, English composition 3, and the thrive fiat lux seminar. Feel free to ask me anything about student life here as well!
