Hello! My name is Hope Lee and I'm a first-year student at Harvard College studying Government & Economics (and potentially statistics). At Harvard, I am involved with collegiate acapella (Harvard Opprtunes) as well as the Harvard Korean Association, Harvard Financial Analysts Club, Small Claims Advisory Service, Harvard Square's Homeless Shelter, and Harvard's Open Data Project. I am passionate about making a positive impact, with a particular interest in law and criminal justice! During high school, I was primarily involved with debate and a variety of student organizations, including student government, a student-run charitable fund, volunteering, and more. I also received national merit, AP scholar, and debate awards, which I believe contributed to my application as a whole. While I've enjoyed exploring Cambridge/Boston as a new Harvard student, I'm a Los Angeles girl at heart who is missing the sun and beaches as the winter months arrive frighteningly fast. While I would love to talk about my college application process (essays, interviews, extracurriculars, standardized testing) and my current experience at Harvard, my goal is to be a resource for you in whatever way you feel is most helpful!
