Irene Ju is a senior at Harvard College graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Languages and Literature and Linguistic Theory. She contributed to research in both fields and completed an independent tutorial in Ethics and Forensic Linguistics at Oxford’s Exeter College. At Harvard, she was a part of the Asian American Association and co-led an Educational Studies organization, coordinating a program for 500+ students and leading initiatives in education equity. Irene also designed and taught a seminar at Harvard’s U.S.-China Relations conference (Summit for Young Leaders in China), Asia’s largest student-run event for promoting liberal arts education. With Wiseman Education in Shanghai, she developed an academic proposal for UNESCO and conducted literary workshops at Elegantia College.

Irene further pursued her passion for academia as a teacher at the Paideia Institute, where she established a program dedicated to making Classics accessible to young learners. She also collaborated with the Save Ancient Studies Alliance, connecting fellow Classicists beyond the professoriate. Since 2018, her teaching experience includes mentorship in underserved Boston communities, ESL tutoring for 50+ students, and research in early education theories at a startup focusing on holistic educational development.

Irene gained expertise in college consulting, initially counseling first-generation, low-income students at Harvard and working independently as an Admissions Counselor for international students. She then worked at a higher education consulting firm, aiding in academic and extracurricular development and securing admissions to U.S. universities and boarding schools. As a mentor, Irene is dedicated to nurturing the unique talents and abilities of each of her students.

In her free time, she enjoys filmmaking, playing the flute, creative writing, and connecting with people.
